Thank You

{There’s not an audio recording because I wanted to get this out there.}

I want to say THANK YOU everyone who loved and supported us during this trying time in one fashion or another. I had no idea the results we would see. When I posted previously about my condition, it was scary and I didn’t want to do it. Also I battled with the lie that “I’m not that important” or the fact that “my condition is not as serious as some who maybe battling cancer” so who would support me financially. I had figured we would raise a couple of bucks but never in my wildest dream would I be able to say that all of the medical bills for this surgery is taken care of one way or another. I praise God for what he has done through each of you. And I pray he blesses you 1000 fold. Pulling together as a community helping each other is what we should be doing whether great or small. Needless to say my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude and thanksgiving. I have learned a lot through this process.

For an update, we are 2 weeks out from the official surgery. I had a biopsy earlier this week that was unpleasant and painful. So glad it’s over. I have also completed all the necessary blood work and pre-surgery stuff. Please continue to pray as the pain level is still persistent, and I had to drop one of my pain killers that worked well in preparation for surgery. So we now wait and pray.

Again, thank you all for your love and support! May God bless you richly! I look forward to when I can get back to our devotional readings.
