Where is Your Faith??

Do you know? Do you want to know?  I am not talking about your faith for Miracles, someone’s healing or your faith that God will see you through what ever the situation it may be.  I am going to focus on your faith to fulfilling your destiny.

Matthew 17:14-21

14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Matthew 21:18-22

18 Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. 19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”

21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Do you have the faith to speak to that mountain?  The mountain in your life that is keeping you from moving forward in your calling/Destiny.

Luke 8:22-25

22 Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. 23 But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!”

Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 But He said to them, “Where is your faith?”

And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

Faith Level

* Abundant

* 1 Mustard Seed

* None At All

Do you have a lot of mustard seeds?  1 mustard seed?  or do you need to go and get your mustard seed?

To many times we sit and tell God that we trust him & that we will do what he asks us to do.  but do we really believe it? Do we really want to do what he asks.  Or are we scared of the responsibility that goes with it?

2 Corinthians 5:7

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

The Key word here is WALK!!!  You must be in action.  No longer can we say…”God is calling me to full-time ministry (or whatever he’s spoken to you about) and sit in the pew.”

James 2:14-26

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Do I really have to elaborate any?  Faith with out action/work is NO FAITH AT ALL!  So back to my original question…Where is your faith?  Are you working all out for the Lord? doing everything he asks you to do.

True faith involves a commitment of your whole self to God.  We don’t have time to discuss commitment, so check that out for yourself.

You can choose to follow God’s path or your own.  Is following God easy? NO.  Success is always inconvenient.  It’s not about you any more. It’s about the people out there who need GOD. You control what actions you take.

Are you moving forward or are you standing still? Are you ACTIVELY pursuing God’s plan for your life? Are you living on purpose every day. In the beginning we make our habits. In the end our habits make us.  Get focused.  Laser vision focus. Know what your are doing daily.  Let God tell you what you need to do every day.

Do you have a vision from God?  Or do you need one?  If you need one, get into His Presence and get it from him.  If you have your vision from Him, then what are you doing to see it come to past. Nothing happens until first a Dream.

Get into His presence.  Get your direction/His plan, then ACT.  Don’t sit. Have FAITH to know that he will use you for his Glory.  Never again say…”I’m waiting on God”  NO…He told you what you need to do you have to do it.

Is it scary? YES.  But it is so worth it.

The price for success is discipline and the cost of mediocrity is disappointment.

Do you have the courage to Arise and Walk in what God has called you to do?
